Registration Policy & Procedure

To Register:

You can register online by selecting the course you’d like from our website and clicking “Add to Cart”. Alternatively, you can register for classes by calling 518-696-2400, or visiting our primary location during business hours at 51 Main Street, Lake Luzerne, NY. We are open 9-4 daily.

To secure your spot, register as early as possible, as courses fill quickly. Be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for new classes, last-minute opportunities, or cancellations. You can also sign up for our email list by completing the form at the bottom of the page to receive class updates as well as our monthly newsletter.

Your space in a class is reserved upon registration and payment. Confirmation will be sent out via email, and you will receive a reminder the week before the class. A photo and liability form will be issued, and a signature required at the first class.

Course Location:

All classes will be offered at the Adirondack Folk School, 51 Main Street, Lake Luzerne, NY, 12846 unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If AFS must cancel a course, students will receive a full refund of any payments made for that course. Students who cancel their enrollment more than 30 days prior to the first day of the course will receive a refund of fees paid less a cancellation fee to cover our administrative costs:

$40 cancellation fee for a full-day or multiple- day class
$25 cancellation fee for a 1/2 day class
$10 cancellation fee for children’s classes

In recognition of the time and energy instructors invest in preparing for their classes, students who cancel their enrollment 30 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to the refund policy will be rare and considered only under unusually mitigating circumstances.

Tuition & Material Fees:

Tuition and material fees are payable to AFS at the time of registration.
