Wooden Cross-Country Skis

Learn to build old-time traditional cross-country skis and preserve a piece of North Country history. You will cut, plane and bend using a variety of woodworking techniques to complete a set of wood skis. Imagine the fulfillment of skiing the beautiful Adirondack trails and woods on hand-made skis. Uncle Sven would be proud.

Nuno Felt Top

Join Marjolaine in a 3-day class to create a reversible tunic to top. Her fascination for the limitless possibilities of making nuno felt seamless garments led her to playful creations. Clothing should be fun to wear! During this workshop you will explore the technique of nuno felt, using a resist for the pattern. You will learn various wool layouts to create a light and flowing garment. Level: Intermediate to advance.
