This birch bark container is made from a sheet of birch taken from a fallen tree. In this class you will use heat to bend the birch, attach a wooden base, and choose your stitch pattern using waxed linen. Additional embellishments will be available if students would like. Dimensions: 9” x 2” x 8.5” high. Intermediate level, some stitching experience helpful.

Students will have a set of 4 clear globes. Learn to loop stitch with waxed linen over the globes creating a lacy looking ornament. The globes can be filled with glitter or a little treasure making each one unique. Students should be able to complete anywhere from one to all four globes during class. Globes are 2″ in diameter.
