Beverly Cornelius

Basket Weaving has been Beverly’s passion for more than 25 years. After following and teaching other weavers patterns for many years, she has developed a distinctive style of her own that incorporates bridle leather and horse tack hardware, resulting in many of her own unique basket patterns. Two of Beverly’s Ash Baskets are part of the permanent collection of the Folklife Center at The Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls, NY and she was privileged to be a Beekman Artisan for many years. Beverly designed the Beekman Pie Carrier and their Wine/Picnic Carrier. She is proud to have been an instructor at the Adirondack Folk School since it began and she is a member of the Cooperstown Art Association
Beverly’s baskets can be seen at the William Coffey Studio in Northville, NY and online at facebook.com/beverlycorneliusbaskets and Instagram @beverlycornelius45.
