Creating a Medicine Wheel Herb Garden- June 2023
There are many garden
templates one can install, yet
none are as Earth focused,
Spiritual, and meditative as a
traditional Medicine Wheel
Garden. We’ll discuss the
basic structural elements
which create this unique
garden design and, from
there, sketch one out on paper
– influenced by our own
connection with the Earth. With the basic principles planted in
our hearts and minds, we will create and plant a permanent

Herbal Electuaries and Truffles- December 2023
Satisfy your sweet tooth while nourishing your body with Herbal Electuaries and Truffles! People have been getting nourishment from plants since the beginning of time. Discover the delight of combining simple pantry ingredients with wild crafted herbs to make candies that are both delicious and nutritious. We’ll discuss the health benefits of each of our ingredients, including chocolate, and then the aprons will go on! Participants will go home with a lovely batch of Herbal Electuaries and two types of herbal truffles, each decorated with your choice of toppings.

Herbal Infused Vinegar- October 2023
Herbal infused vinegar is easy to make and wonderful to take! Learn how adding just a few simple, fresh ingredients can enhance the scientifically proven curative power of apple cider vinegar. As we chop, we’ll discuss the variety of internal, external, and household applications, the many benefits of apple cider vinegar itself and the added value of combining it with wild plants, cultivated herbs and veggies. During this class you will have the opportunity to make and take Margo’s tried and true “must make” Fire Cider Vinegar formula for Immune system support and increasing circulation and heat during cold weather imbalances.

Traditional Herbalism- August 2023
The use of plants for wellness, nutrition and balance has been practiced for thousands of years in the Adirondacks and cultures around the globe. Discover what they knew and passed down for generations. In this course you’ll get hands-on experience in traditional practices for transforming raw plant material into beneficial preparations with a focus on enhancing the wellbeing of our body system organs. This class is for all levels and open to ages 13 and up.

The plants are whispering…beckoning us to gather “in the wild.” This class is for those who would like to answer that call. To work with the plants at their peak in the location in which they thrive! Using techniques from various earth-based traditions, discover the many benefits of wild foraging including: approaching the plants with an open and receptive heart, working intuitively, setting intentions for the exchange, asking permission as a way of giving respect, giving thanks, wild plant identification, and making herbal preparations on the spot!
