Chris and her husband Bob moved to the Adirondacks in 2024 to live a simpler life and connect deeply with nature. Chris opened her online business, The ADK-Mom and Pop Shop, in spring 2026, to combine her lifelong love of folk embroidery with the natural surroundings of the Adirondacks. The Folk Embroidery Collection features intricate, cross-stitch designs and motifs carefully curated from various countries such as Romania, the Balkans, Greece, and the Caucuses. The Art in Nature Collection features unique embroidery pieces inspired by the flowers, fauna, blue skies, and forests of the Adirondacks. Chris uses locally sourced items to create unique designs to bring the Adirondacks to your home.
