Kendra Schieber

Kendra Schieber* is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  She works as an artist and sign designer when she’s not involved in theatre projects and volunteering for area organizations. She grew up in a family passionate about the arts, science, mathematics, social justice & environmental issues, and the outdoors. Every summer found the family canoe-camping on the Lake George Islands or on adventures in the wilderness.

Ms. Schieber has worked as an actor, set painter, set designer, director, and stage manager for several productions in the region. Kendra was a founding member of the Philadelphia Calligraphers’ Society and is currently serving as president of the Board of To the Himalayas With Love, Inc.; treasurer of the Corinth Merchants’ Association, Inc.; and treasurer of Adirondack Center Stage, Inc. She is a member of Saratoga Arts, Delaware Valley Fern and Wildflower Society, Mohawk Canoe Club, Saratoga County League of Women Voters, and Adirondack Mountain Club. She lives in Corinth, NY and owns “The Sign Studio” with her husband, Ron Ogden. Kendra has studied and taught calligraphy (beautiful lettering) and painting for many years. Her studio has recently opened as a workshop and teaching space at 124 Main Street in downtown Corinth, NY.
