Nancy Miller

Nancy Miller has been creating versatile yet uncommon wearable art jewelry since 1993.  She began by using traditional jewelry fabrication techniques and since 2001 has been working primarily with metal clay.  She appreciates taking full advantage of the unique characteristics of metal clay as it accepts textures readily, forms fluid curves, and invites spontaneity during the design and construction processes.  Nancy enjoys the process of teaching new and experienced students the many ways that metal clay can be used to bring their design ideas to life.  Nancy has received numerous awards for her jewelry at a variety of craft shows. She developed and continues to coordinate an entirely volunteer funded and staffed jewelry program for seriously ill children at the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne. Nancy has taught metal clay jewelry making since 2001 and was one of the first group of instructors at the Adirondack Folk School.  You can find out more about Nancy at her website.
