Copper Embossing with Birch Frame- February 2026
Price range: $215.00 through $240.00In this couples class, one person will create a copper embossed plaque on 5 mill copper with Metal Arts instructor Mark Swanberry. Various templates for your design will be available or you may use your own, if applicable. Downstairs in the Woodshop, the other person will be making an Adirondack style frame with Rustic Furniture instructor Jim Schreiner, which will be built on a 12 inch by 12 inch pine backing. At the end of the classes the copper plaque will be fastened to the pine framework

Wooden Cross-Country Skis- November 2026
Price range: $420.00 through $495.00Learn to build old-time traditional cross-country skis and preserve a piece of North Country history. You will cut, plane and bend using a variety of woodworking techniques to complete a set of wood skis. Imagine the fulfillment of skiing the beautiful Adirondack trails and woods on hand-made skis. Uncle Sven would be proud.

Found in the earliest Great Camps of our region, the skilled craftsmen who made this unique furniture were inspired by the world around them. In this class you will be guided from start to finish: from the selection of the materials and their preparation, to the joinery required, as well as the aesthetics that will help you make a fine end table suitable for your Great Camp or home.
