Beginning Knitting – Make Coasters- July 2025
Have you always wanted to learn to knit but thought it was too difficult? Don't feel intimidated! Our instructor will help you through the process of learning the two basic kinds of stitches as you make at least one lovely coaster. If time permits you may make all three!! Ages 8 to adult.

Spinning, the ancient art of twisting fibers to make yarn or thread, still thrives today, and this workshop will show you how to bring its magic into your own creative practice. In this workshop, you will learn how to spin wool using spindles and a spinning wheel and hear stories and folklore about spinning while you practice. You will learn the basics of spinning, how to work with the properties of wool, and how to ply and finish the yarn you have spun. No experience is necessary.

From Fleece to Yarn- November 2025
Wool is a versatile ecological material for knitting, felting, and weaving, but processing it can be a bit tricky for a beginner. In this workshop, you will learn how to work with wool starting with raw fleece straight off the sheep and ending with handspun yarn ready to be incorporated into your craft projects. We will play with wool from a variety of sheep breeds, including some rare heritage breeds, and we'll learn how to use their different qualities to create the perfect materials for your projects. You will learn how to use different wool processing tools like hand cards, wool combs, and a drum carder. If you like starting with natural materials and seeing them through to the finished product, this is a great workshop for you!

Glorified Nine Patch- October 2025
This block will include sewing curves. The Acuquilt system includes match points in each piece that eases the challenge. You will create enough blocks for a table top or a lap quilt project of your choosing. The blocks created in the block party classes will be cut using the Acuquilt cutting system. This system improves accuracy in cutting and reduces the stress on your hands often felt while cutting large amounts of small units of fabric for the quilt blocks.

Introduction to Boundweave- June 2025
Boundweave results in a totally warp-faced, thick textile. In this class you will learn about the structure and weave a mat or two. Several pattern designs will be available, or you'll be able to create your own.

Mariner's Compass- November 2025
This is a challenging and classic quilt block. The Acuquilt system cuts and organizes the pieces for you. The step by step process, while challenging, creates a block to be proud of. One complete compass creates a 12" x 12" block. Ideas for projects to incorporate the block will be shared.
